Front Runner AV are an Australian audio/visual hiring company that rent out equipment to festivals and music shows. We built a fantastic custom store in Bubble with complex ordering and rental formulas with a custom API sync to their order management portal.
Front Runner AV approached us to modernise their equipment rental process with a custom-built online store. The goal was to create a system that could handle complex AV hire requirements, streamline bookings and integrate seamlessly with their existing order management processes.
AV equipment rental involves more complexity than standard eCommerce, with variables like hire duration, bundled equipment, availability and pricing formulas. We needed to build a system that could accurately handle these calculations while remaining easy for customers to use. On top of that, the platform had to sync reliably with their existing order management portal via API.
We designed and built a fully custom store in Bubble, tailored to handle complex rental logic and ordering flows. The platform includes advanced pricing and hire calculations, ensuring accuracy across bookings, along with a custom API integration that syncs orders directly with their internal system. The result is a streamlined, scalable solution that simplifies operations and improves the customer booking experience.
