MaterialExchange approached us to create a platform that makes it easy for contractors to sell surplus building materials instead of letting them go to waste. The goal was to build a marketplace accessible across web, iOS and Android, enabling users to list, discover and purchase materials locally.
The construction industry often deals with excess materials, but there’s no simple, trusted way to resell them. We needed to design a marketplace that works for busy contractors, with a straightforward listing and buying experience, while ensuring consistency and performance across multiple platforms.
We designed and developed a cross-platform marketplace app available on web, iOS and Android. Contractors can easily list surplus materials, while buyers can browse and purchase locally, creating a more efficient and sustainable supply chain. The result is a scalable platform that reduces waste, unlocks value from unused materials and supports a more circular approach within the construction industry.
